Australian Traditional-Medicine Society The Australian Traditional-Medicine Society (ATMS) is Australia's largest professional association of complementary medicine practitioners, representing about 65% of the total complementary medicine profession. ATMS was founded in 1984 and is an incorporated not-for-profit company with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ABN 46 002 844 233). As at early June 2007, ATMS had 10,767 financial members. ATMS is governed by the Executive Board of Directors, and has four main national committees. The Departments of Massage Therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Homeopathy, Naturopathic Nutrition, Naturopathy and Western Herbal Medicine were established to address the specific needs of practitioners in these disciplines. ATMS is the only complementary medicine association represented on two Commonwealth statutory committees.

The Melbourne Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety & Depression Group Meet with others in your area who are coping with Depression, Anxiety and Bipolar Disorder. From Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) to other types depression, including clinical and reactive/situational depression, Bipolar Disorder I and II, Anxiety (social and other), OCD, discuss treatment, share advice and support one another. The B.A.D group meets once a month on a Friday nights at Caroline Springs Victoria (Western suburbs) and focuses on friendship between members and offers a variety of information on all types of mental illnesses. The B.A.D group is looking at running a support group in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Stay tuned for further information.
